I remember the 84 finals.
I was sort of but not really kidding when I said this. Did not think they would do it to put away a close game in the 4th, with a 19 year old rookie replacing Pritchard.
It is my secret wish that they get weird and go to a super small lineup- JB/Hauser/Dwhite/PP/Simons. JB at the 5! I’d like to see teams try to guard that. (Rim protection? What’s that?)

I was somehow weirdly encouraged by this game - C’s hanging in despite ~25 percent from 3 and a bunch of missed free throws against a Piston’s team that clearly wanted this one…
The Celtics are hanging in admirably but simply have no chance of beating the Pistons shooting 21 percent from 3.

Within the next couple of seasons, when someone says “Jordan is the best player ever,” they’ll have to clarify if they mean Michael Jordan or Jordan Walsh.
Jordan Walsh has been everywhere in the first half. He’s got 15 points on 6/6 shooting, 3 steals, 2 offensive rebounds, and he prevented a shot at the rim in transition. It wasn’t a block, but his effort dissuaded an attempt at a layup.
Walsh is a walking Tommy Point right now.
