Being both Black and autistic means your “meltdown” is seen as aggression, not distress.
Police, teachers, even doctors often interpret your neurology through racial bias and that can be deadly.
We need safety, not suspicion 👌🏽

OH! Now I see your beef; you think I totally eschew love and light. That's not the case, I just think it takes more to set the world right. When I said I wish I could believe in love and light again, it's specifically that nonviolent, peaceful solutions, and love of even the enemy will win the day.

What does this mean for my mile and a half? Should I listen to my heart more closely? Also, I'm guiding new transfems in the gym, is this something I should also be concerned with? I will always have anyone stop if they have chest pains, but I'd like to know what other impacts it could have.

There's much I don't know about the world, this is true. I typically don't think much of others who ridicule over ignorance though; they probably don't have much for themselves.

Families are already hanging by a thread, but the sad truth is it’s about to get a lot worse when SNAP benefits don’t go out in November.

It’s time to find our local food banks and help out with donations and volunteer hours if you are able.

Well I'm glad you feel so blessed! Though, seems odd to wish such ills on another person when your odds are so good it feels unfair. But hey, what do I know, I apparently have a small mind, don't know about sacrifice, and I'm wrapped in negativity.
