I'm Rob, I write a newsletter called Radical History (radicalhistory.substack.com), give talks on the same here in Portland, OR, and am the co-host of Dungeon Master of None, a TTRPG podcast about getting started running/playing in games (not an AP). In my day job I'm a lifeguard, which rules IMO.

I think it's neat how the big publications will very occasionally allow a socialist to write for them but only when they can find one to dress up a dumbshit regressive opinion as leftist
I wrote about why we should not celebrate someone losing their job, especially in today’s America, even when they’ve done terrible racist things.
Losing a job should also be harder and involve workers’ bodies not unilateral management decisions.
