I'm pro-manners. But as travel by air becomes increasingly less comfortable, with tinier seats and extra charges for the most rudimentary services (checking a bag, reserving a seat, even having a carry-on), I'm wondering if this spot will find its mark.

Hero’s of the day - In a small town of Beckley, WV, Kendra Sullivan staged a one-woman No Kings protest. She was confronted, had the police called on her, but stood her ground. She was physically threatened. Police came more than once and protected her right to protest. This is how we do it.

I visited the apartment building ICE raided on Tuesday today. Story to come, but you can walk right in. Half of the apartments have no doors on them. Children's stuff abandoned in some flats. *Citizen* residents told me they were arrested and held for hours in zipties. This is America
