There seem to be a lot of #BlueMAGA voices that are outraged at any perceived maligning of what they believe to be Joe Biden's heroic management of the pandemic he declared "over" in '23 - the one that is, in fact, ongoing.

"He did the best he could."

No. He did what Impact Research told him to.

The first page of a memo from a public relations firm, Impact Research, to President Joe Biden and his staff on February 24, 2022 (about a third of the way through the deadliest few months of the pandemic to date). In summary, the memo states that two years into the pandemic, people are over it and want to get back to normal, and that "nearly every American finally has the tools to protect themselves from this virus." The first two bullet points read "Declare the crisis phase of COVID over and push for feeling and acting more normal", and "Recognize that people are 'worn out' and feeling real harm from the years-long restrictions and [next words underlined] take their side."

It is not unreasonable for disabled and vulnerable people to ask the rest of the population to stop killing them, to allow them to exist as part of society. To stop participating in casual eugenics. Current vaccines do not stop transmission or meaningfully reduce risk of brain and organ damage.

I think the ignorance of Covid & long COVID is an issue. Like many illnesses you can be spreading an illness before you have symptoms so the idea of only masking when when sick is limited. Covid it’s even worse since 40% of those with Covid & spreading it are asymptomatic so masking important.

Which of these people has Covid and is spreading it?

60% of those with Covid are asymptomatic, they don't know they have it or have yet to feel the symptoms. That's why everyone should be wearing a mask, even if they feel fine.

The fear I see is among those who are afraid to examine the scientific evidence, which shows overwhelmingly that the only way to mitigate long-term harms from repeated COVID infection, including much higher risks of early-onset dementia and elevated cardiovascular risk, is to *avoid catching COVID.*

Most public unaware that that by infection 5 or 6 most people will have some form of long covid. There is no treatment or cure further long covid. Over 200 symptoms. Some listed here

Heads up, #NoKings comrades - if you do not have a digital security plan, you need one 𝘺𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘺. That would have been true without this bullshit, but it's extra now. Whether these vans are in play on 10/18 or not, a solid protest digital security protocol going forward is now a #1 priority.

NEW: ICE purchased custom-made vans from a company called TechOps Specialty Vehicles (TOSV) that are equipped with fake cellphone towers designed to spy on phones.

TOSV president said the company integrates the cell-site simulators into their vans, but does not manufacture the surveillance tool.

I believe that every human life has an absolute value, and is worthy of being shielded from harm. That belief is reason enough for me to wear a respirator mask in all public spaces during the ongoing pandemic of Covid-19, to avoid being an enabler of illness and mortality.

New study just dropped linking shingles reactivation and dementia risk.

You know what reactivates shingles? Covid.

Want to avoid it? Wear a well fitted respirator and give yourself the best odds of avoiding Covid infection.

There’s also a shingles vaccine which may help reduce risk!
