YES. Kiss gets attention because of nostalgia for mediocrity
And, by the way, KISS has always sucked, will always sucked, and also suck currently. Gene Simmons is one of the biggest assholes in "entertainment". Ever heard his interview with Terri Gross on Fresh Air? What a fucking douche.

Led a letter with @repkimschrier.bsky.social + @hankjohnson.house.gov urging the CDC to keep these protections in place. We can't let RFK Jr's handpicked committee turn back the clock.

Today is the start of 2 days of meetings of RFK Jr.'s ACIP, where vaccines skeptics outnumber actual scientists and medial experts. Their target: the Hep B vaccine, which has a ~90-98% (after 3 doses) effectiveness rate in preventing infection for up to 30 yrs.

Doctors warn delaying hepatitis B shot for newborns could revive a deadly threat
As RFK Jr.'s new vaccine panel ponders changing the hepatitis B vaccination schedule, some doctors recall past patients, including children, who died painful deaths before there was a vaccine.

Question for scientists studying exercise/cardio (for a possible story—pls boost!): We know 8K+ steps daily & 150-300 min exercise/week each ↑ life expectancy. But, if a person can ONLY do one or the other, is there evidence suggesting one confers greater longevity/health benefit than the other?

It'd seem like someone getting 8-10K steps a day is already meeting the 150-300 min exercise a week, but I'm thinking more of 8-10K steps w/o breaking a sweat, spread thru-out a day vs. 300+ intense cardio min a week in bursts—but not both. If you can only do one, which is better, or are they equal?
