I thought the Trump Derangement Syndrome related to the deranged posts Trump makes on his personal social media site. But it takes a narcissistic to turn it into it being about people obsessed with him. He's the only person deranged - aside from all his followers of course.

Reminder that "derangement syndrome" is not an officially classified psychological disorder, and loathing someone who is actually vile is perfectly rational. Letting them hold the highest office in the land is deranged.

Been to Ikea with a friend and we had a successful and good trip. (I didn't get lost on the way back as I often do = win). The sun came out so got a short walk in. And the cats have been enjoying me read our new book out loud to them. 😆

I’m not a religious man. If anything, I’m an atheist. But my mom was Jewish & I’ve known my whole life that there are people who would hate me because of that part of my heritage. I put a menorah in the window not as a religious observance, but as a Fuck You to the people who kill Jews out of hate.
I need to go buy more candles, but we had some birthday ones sitting around that work well enough.

Watching the news. What happened in Bondi Beach was abhorrent!! Absolutely stunned and horrified. Especially a country where they gave up their guns years ago. And the amazing bravery of a civilian attacking and disarming one of the gunmen. Thinking of all those families affected.
