There’s a free application, shutup10++, that lets you disable all the shitty windows stuff with a series of checkboxes.
It even tracks if windows rolls anything back between updates and lets you reverse the changes with a click.
I can personally recommend shutup10++ if you need to stick with windows

Windows 10 goes out of support today. My fave useless fact about w10 is that the iconic blue desktop background is a *photograph* - not CGI.

Unfinished Business is just that - odds and ends. Scraps and sketches. I've been so frustrated with everything that I want to embrace what I'm ashamed of. None of this feels good, but goddamnit I'm trying.
Page 17 of Unfinished Business. Babs Tar has been sharing a lot of cool sketches of Harley! I wanted to try sketching iconic characters myself. I want to imagine Ivy with an undercut, long hair that curls into tight roses, and a leather jacket. ...Thinking further into Batman's world, I would love to do a story where Batman is a poor kid on a BMX. Just a povvo Bruce that's doing what justice a broke kid can in one of those cheap Halloween masks. I like to imagine that a lot of his rogue's gallery would be adults that love to humor him. Except Joker - he'd have to be a weird broke kid too. Page 18 of Unfinished Business. A traditional page full of sketches! Including Miri as a teenager from Buddy Daddys, Jennifer Check from Jennifer's Body, and some of my own gals. Page 19 of Unfinished Business. A bust pen sketch of a woman with a nosering and soft doe eyes. Then there's a single panel comic of when my kid and I went to the Marina concert this summer. We went in costume! However, we're such country bumpkins that seeing public transport was very cool and impressive. Page 20 of Unfinished Business. A comic on a dirty and dented dot grid page. I can't afford therapy so I'm trying to work on my issues like this - confronting myself at different ages - rotating a feeling until I can understand it. It feels embarrassing, but I think I have to process things.

Page 13 of Unfinished Business. Featuring two notepad sketches of Batboy and myself hanging out. MY SUMMER WITH BATBOY. I was super scared of him when I was a kid! My Dad would blame any noise in the house on Batboy comin' to mess with me. I now love Batboy a lot from those memories lol Gravediggers is a concept of what would happen around burials in a post apocalyptic world. I like the idea of having a group of people that would be an active movement to place zombies to rest or to find bodies and bury them. I wanted to explore how this would look according to the time of year, the weather, and any local customs or how that would change depending on the culture of the dead person. Page 14 of Unfinished Business. Featuring a stickynote drawing of my two black cats, Adora and Ophelia. An ink sketch of a shoujo inspired woman with super long messy hair. Also, a largely yellow drawing of a Sonic OC reeling back to punch. My kid was describing a classmate's OC to me, and I kinda loved him. Page 15 of Unfinished Business. The top sketch is a mostly-aerial shot from above a woman. It's loose notes on how my magical girl, Betelgeuse, would move around, and if she could have malleable gold that she'd control. The bottom half shows the life cycle of an image for me! I work a lot so I try to jot down ideas on the stickynotes around me. If I like a concept there I'll try to sketch it traditionally, seeing what colors I'd like to use. The final digital pass is from a scan of the traditional sketch, and then correcting proportion issues. I need to keep practicing - I want to marry my sketch and digital styles - get a coloring style that's more of a blend of them. Page 16 of Unfinished Business. I took my kid to a movie the summer of 2024. A beautiful woman complimented my hair and I could barely respond to her. My social skills are pretty rotten as is, but they disappear completely around women. I get so awestruck that my language goes full 404 not found. I need to work on this since I'm realizing just how bitchy it comes off.

Two girls colored in marker. ~Cambrian Sea Mode~(aka edibles at nighttime, when you're floating andwarm?), and a sticky note comic of when I accidentally wandered into a Vampire the Masquarade LARP at a comic shop. Richmond, VA 2005 (?) Back in those days I was super pale, black hair, bright red lips. I also frequently dressed in pure white. So *I LOOKED* like someone who was attending the LARP! This young man in a trenchcoat approached me when i was lost and lookin' for the bathrooms and he was real smooth in his greeting. Like I was taken aback at how smooth it was! Pure confidence, man. It's amazing. Page 12 of Unfinished Business. Stickynote with one of my dreams scrawled down. Ink sketches. The pink stickynote was what happened when I was 20 at my first retail job. Our loss prevention stood at the front door and would have to check every employee when they'd be leaving for the day. Typically you'd take your jacket off and he'd pat it down. However, this 50 year old man would want all of the young women to keep their coats on so he could pat you down and then try to tickle you?? I can be a raging bitch at times and 20 year old me was SPICY. I got so angry that he wanted to do this that I said this immediately. And he went on to be a decent coworker! Treated me close to a daughter.

The last few pages of my deep health issue arc.
Page 5 of Unfinished Business. I couldn't walk until February - my bone just physically couldn't be straightened. Before the massive blood clots I had a local physical therapist put her bodyweight on my knee to try to force it down. She yelled at me for being lazy about all of this, and that I should be healed by now. Three days after that I was at St. Mary's getting a chicken nugget sized clot pulled out of my heart. Page 6 of Unfinished Business. February 2025 I started drawing a proper comic about everything that happened. I was going to call it "MEG EVANS IS PREPARING TO DIE." Nearly dying made me realize that my family isn't prepared at all for my death. I wanted to chroncle what happened, along with paperwork and health changes in place after. I still have to document all of my passwords for my husband. Page 7 of Unfinished Business. Three digital sketches. I have PAGES of rough sketches like this. I try to draw whenever possible, and if I can't think of things to draw I practice off of Pinterest photos. Page 8 of Unfinished Business. A rough comic on grid paper a rockstar getting hit by truck-kun, a mad scientiest, some brains on the pavement, and a robot and sasquatch.

This set of pages are older drawings that I did fresh from the hospital. My hands were completely covered in bruises from blood draws, and were shaky at best.
Page 1 of Unfinished Business. Very loose pink pen sketches of being in a car and watching the lights blur into star streaks. My days in the hospital were lonely, miserable, and painful. The world felt so sparkling and new when I was leaving for home. Page 2 of Unfinished Business. Loose sketches on notebook paper. It really was the best my hands could muster at the time. I simplified my style down to be able to finish the sketches before I was too tired and couldn't use my hands more. Page 3 of Unfinished Business. I had maybe a 5-10 minute limit when drawing around these times. Also due to working contract at the time I had no sick, PTO, vacation, or disability to take time off work. I was back to work 4 days after heart surgery. I would black out in my seat, but I fought to work at least 4 hours per shift to keep my job. Also - BONES CAN BRUISE, did you know that? Because I sure as fuck didn't until I was walking again, 5 months after the original dis-location. My physical therapist told me he wasn't surprised it took this long since my bones were bruised (?!), so they physically couldn't go back into place. Page 4 of Unfinished Business. It's really rough being someone who is hyper independent and having to physically rely on those around me. There were so many days I'd be trapped on a single floor of my house because I didn't have the energy to go up or down the stairs of crutches.

Unfinished Business! A zine that I made for FallCon this past weekend.

I've pent the better part of this year deeply dissatisfied with myself, and in burnout mode. Add financial stress and you get a beautiful depression.
