Cursor AI suggested index key compression for CUSTOMER_ID, and yes, we have quite a few more than 6 customers.

And now managers are curious why we're cross-checking the suggestions developer got from our AI overlord instead of fixing the issue in prod.

I just realized how much of the Python code works only because of GIL.

I've been doing Go lately, and suddenly had to look at what my co-workers came up, and it was like wow! This two line method has both the data race and the race condition, how does it even work?!
