I am not surprised to read that Farage was prominent in his school's CCF. I imagine that pretending to be a military officer and all that marching around the playground would have had much appeal for him.
I went to school, at a different elite school and an earlier time, with people who did much the same things as the allegations made against Farage .
Also, the CCF is the school's "combined cadet force" (the author seems unaware of that) which replicates the UK military structure for the schoolboys.
