Funniest thing i read recently was someone defending Farage because those dodgy former MEPs were Ukip and Brexit party and our Nige is Reform so nothing to do with him. I thought "are you really that thick?" and concluded, yes, they really are that thick.

While waiting to pay for my woke lunch in the Co-op, I took the opportunity to cover up the Mail and the Sun with their hyperbolic headlines about punishing strivers and benefits street.
For the record, I am happy to pay my taxes to help those worse off than me and to improve public services.

December 2014 and Nigel Farage defends dropped UKIP candidate Kerry Smith. He defends the racist slur "chinky", the homophobic slur "poofter" and suggests it is what people who live in council houses say (which is class based bigotry). Even Nick Ferrari is less than impressed.

Over 40 years ago, in my first job, learning my dad was Italian, one of my colleagues sneered "Oh, what does he do? Drive ice-cream van or is he is waiter?". It did give me some pleasure to reply "well he *was* a waiter when he first came but he studied hard and is now a research scientist"
