Australians voted for climate action!

Australia Institute research shows that Australia is currently expanding fossil fuels.

We need stronger environmental laws that stop new coal and gas projects.

An extremely good turnout in Nipaluna (Hobart) today -est 7000 - to stand against a ridiculous stadium, bullying by the AFL of a spineless Lib govt and pointless Labor ‘opposition’ who just agree with them cos ‘jobs’ but blind to crippling ongoing debt. Yeah, nah #politas

I harvested my garlic today because it was ready. It’s November!!! And eating blackcurrants before the redcurrants are ready. It really feels like lucky dip in the garden at the moment.

Who would think that at this point in Australia’s economic transition we should be spending more, not less, on research and development…

Imagine if we taxed the gas industry and pant more on R&D…crazy talk … #cliamte

Two greenhouse frames up with an extension. Now to lay cardboard floor and cover with wire mesh to keep the birds and critters out of my fruit. I will have berries and cherries this year!

Can’t decide if my Autumn Raspberry is very late or early in Lutruwita (Tas)! With snow on the mountain I’m going with late, lmao. Either way the birds are onto it!

Just FYI.
Not only is the USA importing cheap butter into Australia, but they're packaging it in Green & Gold. No surprise that Woolworths is stocking it.

Farmers and consumers have "criticised it for its white colouring and bland flavour."

I had almost given up on achieving any writing this month ala NanoWriMo but collecting seaweed earlier today has compelled me to do so and somehow I have just written the obligatory 1600+ words. It wasn’t on the story I had planned but there is hope.

Since the ceasefire began on 11Oct25, Israel has launched 125 attacks on Gaza, killing 211 people (mostly women and children). After each attack, Israel announces it is "resuming the ceasefire". Western news media says very little. 😠 #IsraeliTerrorism #GazaGenocide
