There's a lot less ground to cover in NY-8 v. NYC. The results of the mayoral election could sway someone to push their chips in.

The O-line was supposed to be a big strength going into the year. It's been arguably the team's biggest weakness.

MLB is loath to change anything, but I think this would actually help promote the game in a meaningful way, to help stir up interest in August-September that is already there for diehard fans but not casuals.

Making a pennant chase relevant again can only help the game.

Especially as MLB moves closer to having a balanced schedule (still have room for improvement, but moving in the correct direction), I think this is overdue.

Americans will hate crowning an official regular season champion, but it has arguably far more merit than a postseason championship.

Yep. The postseason is virtually meaningless in this respect, but is a spectacle.

Love it for what it is, the very-good-to-best versus the very-good-to-best, but don't put too much stock in the results.
