Mamdani has a boatload of canvassers that likely feel the same way, and that election finishes Tuesday. If they find a challenger, the Jeffries seat might be in play.

There's a lot less ground to cover in NY-8 v. NYC. The results of the mayoral election could sway someone to push their chips in.
I would say Al Golden doesn't step foot on the flight home, but the Bengals did this atrocity at home.
What in the holy fuck
More than a handful of holds on that scramble, refs encouraged to extend the drama
To be clear, talking about the offense.

The O-line was supposed to be a big strength going into the year. It's been arguably the team's biggest weakness.

Coach Raiola's had like five years, and the unit has seen no real improvement.
It really is TJ Lateef time, I guess.

Gonna be real interesting when they sit down to discuss the origin of this season's issues and everything points at Dylan's uncle.
Yes, tho Giants-49ers could at least be interesting. Just not great teams.

Was just telling somebody that this series made me really *get* the appeal of baseball in a way I hadn't before and boy oh boy is this a good way to sum it up
Did not expect one of the best paragraphs I’d read about baseball would come from an Irish newspaper

Still waiting for that September 15th opt-out.
Woke up feeling like hell from the shoulders up. No booze, so no hangover.

Massage gunned away just about all the aches, except one shoulder. Microwaved beans in a sock, work your magic.
Her name is Jess Woodland.

Not sure if he's a band member or accompaniment. Probably both? She's the singer-songwriter for this one.
Agreed!

MLB is loath to change anything, but I think this would actually help promote the game in a meaningful way, to help stir up interest in August-September that is already there for diehard fans but not casuals.

Making a pennant chase relevant again can only help the game.
Especially as MLB moves closer to having a balanced schedule (still have room for improvement, but moving in the correct direction), I think this is overdue.

Americans will hate crowning an official regular season champion, but it has arguably far more merit than a postseason championship.

This is probably too European to work here but I do think a season as long as baseball’s is could stand to have a regular season champion and a postseason one.
This song continues to burrow its way into my mind, I'll listen to it a dozen times a day if it won't relent.

Yep. The postseason is virtually meaningless in this respect, but is a spectacle.

Love it for what it is, the very-good-to-best versus the very-good-to-best, but don't put too much stock in the results.
Curse of Don Mattingly
Both teams are playing mill fml
Freeman is Canadian, he's not allowed to win this game on native soil.
I have no important football to watch tomorrow, which, frankly, is a good thing.
I really hope the Jays can do it here, because the Freddie Freeman test is looming.
