Something that will be forever funny to me is that Frontier does their flight attendant training in a city they do not serve (Cheyenne, WY). They fly everyone into denver and then rent coach buses to shuttle everyone up to Cheyenne.

Chicago transit may have its issues, but at least our new build tracks (shhhhh dont talk about Forest Park) don't have speed limits of 15kph/9.3mph
It took 4 minutes to go this 700 meters. That’s a speed of about 10.5 kph

I think architects really need to touch some grass because what do you mean under the clear glass roof you emulated the old roofs, that provided shade, but without any shade, thus turning the entire station into a super greenhouse??? come ON dude

still on my bullshit

On a real note though, I think this "x percentage of y ridership" metric is probably the best way to compare airports in terms of which carries more passengers, but nothing else. It doesn't communicate the raw numbers, why one number is getting closer/further from 100%, etc

While I deployed the MFF bus tracker on transitstatus last year, I will not be doing so for obvious reasons...

Welp, satellite concourse 2, electric boogaloo, might be real again. That being said, it might lead to funding issues for the global terminal @starlinechicago.bsky.social chicago.suntimes.com/transportati...
City reshuffling O'Hare construction plans, thanks to unexpected passenger growth
With O'Hare terminal capacity at the brink, the city says it cannot afford to close Terminal 2 to build a massive Global Terminal by 2033.

New phenomenon ive noticed: almost everyone that drives to pick up their kids from the high school i live by have out of state (not even indiana, we're talking florida, idaho, etc) plates and/or don't have a city sticker. I pay for my parking, these assholes should pay too.

My enhanced plow tracker is almost done, but there are some improvements i want to add (mostly filtering by street, time since last update, vehicle information, etc...but also just making everything look a bit nicer) Check it out! plows.pgm.sh
