I have fond memories of Philip Danault and also this seems like an odd move for the #GoHabsGo at this time and also Hughes/Gorton have not really set a foot wrong yet so 🤷‍♂️

To those saying Engstrom is even better trade material now.

No. Simply no.

The one thing as a GM you never do is trade your player away that you have no idea how high their ceiling may be.

Engstrom is playing NHL hockey like he can process it with time to spare to make the right play.

As far as Olympics, Suzuki is on the bubble. Talk about getting no respect. He plays an outstanding 2-way game and is the 3rd highest scoring player from Canada in the last year.

Hutson also on the bubble even with the Fox injury. They'll never respect a small player it seems. Caufield a long shot.

Milan Lucic Signed In Scotland And People Are Quitting Their Jobs Over It | Defector
The Elite Ice Hockey League, the top level of hockey in the U.K., doesn’t get a lot of big names. NHLers who have washed out of North America tend to head to the Continent: Sweden, Finland, Russia et…

Extremely satisfying for the organization to have a 35-15 shot advantage and win with authority.

Also a thought on a seeming depth chart change perhaps in the making.

And how does the World Juniors look for the Canadiens?

All in the COTW for Global Montreal.

The Habs faced Chicago without Connor Bedard in the lineup on Thursday night, and he's likely not going to be back before the start of the new year. Brian Wilde has more.

#FunFact: tonight Lane Hutson joined Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield as the 3rd #Habs player with at least 70 points in 2025.
The last time the #GoHabsGo had at least 3 players reach the 70-point mark in the same calendar year was 1996!

This whole thread, but THIS especially.
One of the many problems with the term "AI" is that it doens't refer to a coherent set of technologies, rather lumping together different types of automation.

Russian energy was never cheap, neither politically nor economically.
Russian energy was always unreliable.
Russia always needed Europe more than the other way around.

Gallagher is pissed there because Seeler completely faked it.

He actually brought his stick up to his face then reacted.

Gallagher is pissed as the complete lack of sportsmanship of the play.

If you watch a game with a group of people in person, people tend to remain outwardly optimistic.

When you “watch” with people on social media, it’s like a race to see who can be the first to declare the game lost.

So much bitching !!

This Flyers team is playing an extremely tight game. So are the Habs.

The shots on goal are 13-10. They’re 7 over NHL 500 because they play tight hockey. Well coached.
