Thanksgiving lasagna was invented this afternoon. Bottom up: mashed, turkey, stuffing, turkey, spinach and mushrooms with gravy.

I remember when Ezra Klein left The Washington Post to create Vox - a platform for long form explainers on politics and worldly matters of import.

Now it serves up clickbait to scare you away from your thanksgiving dinner.

(spoiler: the deadly disease is high blood pressure)

The alternate story is that they likely know EXACTLY how to tweak the algorithm and moderation in the other direction....

but 'depressed and anxious' brings in more revenue than 'happy and supported'.

Factories and mines are no longer grinding people to dust for profit, but this ain't much better.
Meta halted internal research that purportedly showed (young) people who stopped using Facebook became less depressed and anxious, according to an unredacted legal filing released on Friday. www.cnbc.com/2025/11/23/m...

Oh. Oh no.

The rhythm section on the Other Side just got a bit more groovy.

Remember the woman CBP agents claimed rammed them so they had to shoot her?

I know you'll all be shocked to learn they dropped the charges because CBP/ICE is consistently FULL OF SHIT
November 20, 2025 at 4:49 PM
this right here
Note for Democratic politicians: you don't have to start your condemnations of ICE raids with "We all want to catch violent criminals, but..." Just say "These raids have nothing to do with catching criminals and everything to do with terrorizing innocent minority groups."

What absolute fresh hell is this abomination!?!?

This is downright ghoulish
This is also an indication of how badly we need trauma informed care. It's like we've created widespread arrested development where people don't have to process their emotions, they can just distract themselves or get a chat bot to confirm their worst ideas.

No processing, just delusions.
New insult to life itself just dropped

They buried the lede:

The Vice President thinks housing is a right!
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Perhaps the best movie made all year.

Funny, touching, has the classic romcom misunderstanding, and - importantly - only 2 minutes long.

100%

He always had other people, like his personal assistant, send his emails.
Trump’s name is in these new Epstein emails but you’ll notice the one thing that sets him apart from the rest: He didn’t send or receive any emails himself because he’s long understood the liability of a paper trail.
Amazing how many criminals get together and decide the first order of business is emailing each other about the crimes every three minutes

People are literally getting their faces surgically altered to stay in his majesty's good graces.

This is PSYCHOTIC!
“.. If you add more and more product to your face and are surrounded by people who do the same, ‘you lose sight of anatomic normalcy.’”

There's still a chance to:
change your vote in the next 2 cloture procedures
@durbin.senate.gov

get control of your fucking caucus
@schumer.senate.gov

trigger a vote of no confidence in your leadership
@democrats.senate.gov

call on your senators to protect your neighbors' healthcare
EVERYONE
In the most predictable development ever, Mike Johnson is not committing to hold a House vote on ACA subsidies

Democrats just showed the Trump Administration how to own them every. single. time.

They want us poor and dead.
November 10, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Why is this such an impossible lesson for centrist Democrats to learn?
Tonight was a very bad night.

Hey @durbin.senate.gov - please retire now.

No need to waste everyone's time finishing out your term.

You're not doing us Illinoisians any good anymore.

I'm sure Pritzker can find us someone more helpful to finish your term.

Go rest. Enjoy your family and free time.

You've done quite enough.
Never forget who sold us out:

Auto loan delinquency highest in 15 years...

And they want to create 50 year mortgages?

Fannie & Freddie are the reason that 30 year terms are viable. Now they want to try 50?

The equity problem is insane - like you'd have to be insane to take a 50 year. It'd be 30+ years to get above 50% equity.
Auto loan delinquency rates are at the highest level since June 2010. Trump's response? "I don't want to hear about the affordability."

So now we have the Supreme Court ordering the government to starve people.
Woke up to this headline.
