Yeah. I've been trying honey, turmeric & cayenne, tea, high proof rum toddies, rest, not talking, leaving gifts out for the fairies, satanic ritual — even antibiotics, even though the doc said that was basically a Hail Mary — none of it has worked.

Hey gang. There's an executive committee meeting starting at 9am. A bunch of partner org budgets will be considered today including the library budget which is asking for an additional 3.5% mill rate increase. I do not anticipate this going well. (2) on how much the driver earns.

One man caught driving his Ferrari at 137 km/h the in an 80 km/h zone in a village near St. Gallen was fined 300,000 Swiss Francs (today, $375,000 US).

Another reminder that a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.

If I had a spare billion dollars lying around, I'd open a liberal arts university where everything had to be done in person; papers would have to be handed in on paper, handwritten; no emailing profs, you'd have to go to office hours; books only, online sources would be an academic misconduct. /1
