It would be such a missed opportunity to not talk about the journaling game zines I've published on this platform where you actually see the posts by people you follow.

The Ink That Bleeds is about immersion and bleed and self care and...
It also comes with a bonus game called "count the fonts".
Playing The Magus is a big part of what started me deep into journaling games. If you haven't been able to afford it, now's your chance. It takes just 2ish hours to play and I think you'll have fun.
The Magus was featured in a popular TikTok, and people have been really supporting the game.

To celebrate this milestone, 100 community copies are now available—no need to email anymore. Get a free copy of the Magus in just a single click.

You know how to play FMK? Okay:

The creation of the self.
What, in your opinion, is the actual end goal or "purpose" of playing a TTRPG?

This is for an in-progress writing project and would really love input (via replies, quotes, and/or shares).

"C'mon man, good hit, but Lara's at -5. We need to kill this thing now and cure her up to zero or she's dead, and my spell only heals 1d8+2. What's your damage roll?"

"Hmm...? Good question."

Sometimes a game just tears its way out of me with evocative and compelling writing, like Two Raw Morsels. And sometimes, like the one I drafted yesterday, the juice is in the procedures and I'm going to struggle to find compelling language.

I describe "write to find out" in every one of my journaling game zines, and still I think people think it's just an evocative way to say "make it up". I hope my examples in The Ink That Bleeds show that it's not you "make it up". I think you really don't know what the experience is like until...

I won't lie this took SO many years and was the MOST complicated thing I've ever illustrated. I did all of the artwork in Procreate with like 2 or 3 brushes, I'm unbelievably proud of it.

Thank you, @cameowood.com for believing in me to pull off a project like this, and for making it all possible!

Introduce yourself with 5 animals you've seen in the wild:

Elk
(being chased/followed by an elk is scarier than you might think)(they're huge)
Bighorn sheep
Crow
Whitetail deer
Redtail hawk

(I almost put Bison, but I saw them in a wildlife preserve, so not exactly "in the wild")
Introduce yourself with 5 animals you've seen in the wild:

Kangaroo
Wombat
Koala
Echidna
Bilby

… my excuse is like Juliet‘s, only it’s Australia. (List is basically in order of difficulty.)
Introduce yourself with 5 animals you've seen in the wild:

Hedgehog
Roe deer
Badger
Muntjac deer
Fox

I live in the Cotswolds, okay?

Yeah, Jack White rocks. And for a sports event he had to do Seven Nation Army. But he also should have done Hotel Yorba.
