You ever just think about how much it sucks that Musk bought Twitter and absolutely destroyed it? Like man, that used to be where I'd meet new people, make real life friends, etc. Now, whenever I glance over there to check something, it's just unrecognizable.

The New York Times "Contact us to cancel and we'll give you a better offer to stay" is the worst. I know it's bullshit. They know its bullshit. And yet I obsequiously open the chat, agree to cancel my account, and then, as if touched by a shock fit of generosity, I suddenly get a 70% discount!

Can recommend a special trip to the spectacular library in Dun Laoghaire. I beamed with civic pride while walking through it. A glimpse into what we could have more of.
It’s so great to see Saoirse’s post about our public library service get such traction. The consortium system we have here is a game changer. You can order any book from the entire public library shared catalogue (12 million items) to be delivered to your local branch, for free.
Public libraries are amazing!
