I'll toss one out there (likely to die stillborn but still):

Favorite song by a band or artist about another band or artist. Mine is a simple choice: "If I Was A Mekon" by Too Much Joy.

"If I was a Mekon/I'd drink pints of beer/If I was a Mekon/And talk about Adorno."
have become convinced that people are correct that we should talk about more things other than politics here and I think the path forward is engagement farm-y stuff, best OutKast song, that kind of thing

not going to lean into it personally but happy when others do

one of the things i truly believe is that a significant portion of this country is in the grip of a death cult
"The vaccination has stuff we don't trust," said the father of the 6-year-old girl who died from measles at the end of last month. Tom Bartlett visited with a family confronting an unthinkable tragedy:

Happy sesquicentennial of the birth of the great Maurice Ravel! I know that everyone is probably celebrating in their own way, but if you just got caught without a plan, how about a listen to his String Quartet in F major? Or you could just watch 10.

Hey, artists, in case you were wondering if your work matters: I'm a scientist working on climate change and biodiversity, and I would not be who I am today without The Lorax, The Secret of NIMH, Watership Down, The Last Unicorn, and The X-Files. I know I'm not alone. Thank you for all you do.

We could just be reading great books, watching good movies, and eating fruit. Instead we have to survive/fight miserable power hoarders. What a waste of limited time.

I don't know about others, but I personally don't like it when people post too much. One a day is great - let people chew it over, comment, argue, etc. If you're doing like one an hour or more, they'd better be awesome or there's a pretty good chance of an unfollow. You have been warned.

Krugman was never perfect, but he was fairly progressive when many other public economists were not. He was also a good gateway to better thinkers. Best of luck to him.
