Pam Bondi has basically said anyone visiting the US is subject to arrest and incarceration at any point, if law officials deem the individual a “threat”.

Bang goes the rest of the international tourism trade.

"The impact of Brexit is severe and long lasting... austerity, Brexit, and the ongoing impact of Liz Truss’s mini-budget, all of those things have weighed heavily on the UK economy."

That is what chancellor Rachel Reeves said today.

ALSO. Badenoch claims China was unequivocally classed as a threat in 2021 review and by MI5 in 2022. So can she please explain why the Chinese Nuclear Group was still involved with the Hinkley nuclear power plant project a full two years later - nine months even after Cash and Berry were arrested? 🤨

Me too. The media will have to do lots of editing to make Badenoch look normal.

All those years of attacking ‘the Brexit deal’ rather than Brexit itself have helped only Farage. It was always Brexit.

A useful reminder that everything isn’t quite as doom and gloom as some politicians and parts of the media might have you believe.

So, around two thirds of the government’s Manifesto pledges have either already been achieved or are on the way to being achieved.

Here's me and my Grandad.

His family — and my Grandma’s — came over from Ireland. He served in the RAF. Both of them trained as nurses, helping build the NHS.

I'm the granddaughter of immigrants. Stories like theirs are part of our national story. I'll never forget that.

Can't upset Farage's big money backers. The UK's media is largely made up of vain right-wing blowhards. Unfortunately, there are enough people with a serf like mindset to keep doffing caps and consuming whatever crap the media puts out.

That £900k house in Frinton. Has anyone mentioned how it was paid for yet? Any laws broken, or all above board?

Anyone investigating? Media grown a conscience? Any journalist working for the British people? Anyone?

Half way through another week of silence then.

For the first time in years, senior Labour figures are saying it plainly.

Wes Streeting: “I’m glad that Brexit is a problem whose name we now dare speak.”
Keir Starmer: “They lied to this country, unleashed chaos, and walked away after Brexit.”

The silence is breaking. The damage is undeniable.

I'm so sick of hearing these whines about higher costs for employers. What they're really moaning about is people - particularly in the public sector - getting long overdue pay rises. As anyone should know, if poorer people have more money they spend it and it's good for the economy. #r4today

The problem when we have a right wing press & media. It’s always negative reporting for Labour.
The far left is as bad, instead of celebrating any wins they concentrate on the negatives.
This Government isn’t perfect but compared to the last 14 years, it’s a huge improvement and that’s something!

I bet the BBC choked, having to report this..

Probs be an interview by Chris Mason or Kuenssberg with Farage soon to say why it’s bad news 🤷🏼‍♂️

But the UK is also predicted to suffer the highest rate of inflation in the G7 both this year and next.

Appears the Devon Reform UK councillors that overspent on election expenses have been granted relief with them claiming ‘mistakes’ in their finances.

The first point is - would you want such careless councillors managing your council budget?
