Bit on the nose.

The question everyone should ask Farage is how he’s going to deal with an economy where no one migrates here and many of our young intend to leave.

Ask the media barons too while you’re at it.

Cat domestication might be finger on the pulse stuff, but Amol Rajan is ignoring the latest mini-scandal to hit the BBC, inviting #RutgerBregman to do a Reith Lecture and then censoring his words because they’re afraid of a foreign leader. #r4today
Rutger Bregman said that the line BBC removed from his Reith Lecture broadcast was: "Donald Trump is the most openly corrupt president in American history.”

So even UK media is now under Trump/ Putin control?

Chilling.

Is Farage still the racist bully he was at school?
“there’s a substantive case that Farage did change. He’s seen the strategic necessity of maintaining a clear boundary with the far right”
Cynical political manoeuvring should not shield him.
So yes, he still is.

I see the racists protesting that 111,000 18-30 year old Brits are choosing to leave this racist hell hole they’ve created and are wondering why.

You couldn’t make it up. PS chances are it’s the same number as usual but hey ho it doesn’t stop them politicising stuff. 🤣🤣

If Rachel Reeves gets challenged about this bullseye on Farage being a Russian asset, she should simply reply that it was not meant in a hurtful way.

Somehow this got missed off the "Benefit Street" front pages today
70% of the additional spending from removing the two-child limit will go to families who are in work. This is targeting support for low-income working households who are being priced out of a decent standard of living despite doing everything asked of them.

Reminder: the £150 reduction is an average and different households will save more than this or less than this depending on energy usage, size etc.

The government explain how they work out the £150 in this news story, as well as some illustrative examples.

Households to save £150 a year on energy bills from next April thanks to measures in the budget.

It will happen via:

1) the Energy Company Obligation no longer being added to bills

2) a 75% reduction in the Green Obligation added to bills - with the funding replaced from general taxation.

This is why changes to the Lords is needed. It’s hardly democracy when an elected majority passes a bill and it gets blocked and watered down by a group that were appointed by the lot that got thrown out for being despicably awful. We need an elected House of Lords.

Labour, in both the Commons and Lords, have voted for it at least 6 times now.

The change here is due to the Lib Dems and Tories delaying the whole bill, rather than allowing a manifesto promise to be delivered. Shameful behaviour from them.
