BBC making a big deal about Scotland qualifying for the expanded to 48 nation World cup that all 4 Home Nations should really qualify for anyway and the Faroes (Orkney and Shetland didn’t enter) narrowly missed out. Curacao and Cape Verde also qualified to put it in perspective with Qatar and Haiti.

Watching ‘An adventure in space and time’ David Bradley is superb as William Hartnell. Saw it when it was released and it’s lovely watching it again. Very early BBC to someone born in 1963. So many references i.e. Kennedy assassinated and the Space Race overshadowing the launch. Brilliant.
