The thing that realy bakes my bacon about genAI being used for placeholder assets is that this is how you train junior artists.
By outsourcing it to plagiarism doomsday device you loose out on a whole new generation of _experienced_ artists in your studio! Why would you kill your own future?

I always found it weird when villains in movies put victims through hell, and when they lash out at their lowest point, the villains go 'see, this is their true personality'.
