Someday Miller needs to meet some of the completely assimilated Afghan teenagers who grew up here and go to my kid’s school.
They wear all the latest fashions, have North American accents, know all the latest celeb gossip and roll their eyes every time a grown up speaks.

Just like my kids.

That was my read as well. A sop to Smith who thinks she won the lottery but who will suddenly realize she has to complete requirements to get the prize and she’s ideologically opposed to the Industrial carbon tax!

Ouch….there are so many ways available for MPs to learn conversational French (and anyone these days) seriously, I urge them to ALL make a better effort. With bilingualism and other major languages spoken in Canada #cdnpoli
Last night's NDP French language debate exposed a party that doesn't seem serious about rebuilding after the departure of Jagmeet Singh

The party's livestrteam links were faulty, and candidates weren't particularly engaging, mainly because the collective level of French was atrocious🧵

There’s something seriously wrong with a “world leader” who would post something like this. Yet so many people & media just shrug. This is how deplorable behaviour gets normalized.
America is falling fast.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world watches. And slowly backs away.

This is true. The original article uses the ‘quotation’ without attribution, which is bad. You have to search Google for the quote, and it all comes up as being from the Beaverton. That is some stinky journalism, Time editors.

So Time Magazine did an article on Hoekstra and what an a$$hole he is, and used a quote from THE BEAVERTON because they THOUGH IT WAS REAL.

Ahhh the one reporter who read it! #cdnpoli
Mark Carney managed to trade a pipeline that will never get built for meaningful progress on industrial carbon pricing and electricity interties — both of which will get more wind and solar built.

Remember when people thought he wasn't good at politics? www.nationalobserver.com/2025/11/27/o...

Hey folks, this is me just debating skipping parent teacher night because I don’t want to deal with the terrible new Principal and the even worse Religion teacher.

Just brutal.

I love most teachers, but I have never liked religion teachers. They are so focused on assignments they forget Jesus

Too many stopped reading.

Damn thing looks like a Chinese box puzzle it has so many “if..then…if not..thens”

Classic Bay Street finance and legal bullshit agreement…I’ll give Carney that. Now if only everyone else in the media would keep reading.

#cdnpoli
I think many stopped reading after seeing that Ottawa was willing to work with AB and a pipeline.
There are key points later.
Also, there is a lot more in the agreement than just a "possible if all agreements are met" pipeline.

Carney telling Danielle Smith to shut up to her face is one of the few things that could help Smith get reelected. Instead, he is giving her all the rope she needs to demonstrate that her project is simply not viable.

Given that’s there’s a non-zero chance the pipeline never happens but Carney gets blamed for supporting it and failing to get it done, I’m going to call this one a questionable move!

Mostly it says no one has read the MOU with Alberta. Because I’ll be a monkey’s uncle before all those conditions are met to approve it.

It’s literally that difficult. Like Gru in Despicable Me trying to steal the moon. #cdnpoli

He’s resigning, even though the deal will not ever get approval from BC or indigenous peoples and no one in the private sector will ever invest in it? (Cause it’s way too expensive)

And there are many other conditions they can’t satisfy either.

So why resign? #cdnpoli

I am greatful for all those who came to to this country to make a better life for their families. I grieve that they brought their trust in America, only to be unfairly persecuted.
