My surgery got bumped to February 9th because they want to bring in a second specialist surgeon so they can hopefully save my aortic valve so I'm not on blood thinners the rest of my life.

Nearing the end of the month and I'm not able to wear my glasses for long due to a sore under a nosepad. Already adjusted the frames, pad wiring, and made sure everything is cleaned so now I just need to wait for things to heal. Any support provided would be appreciated.

Turns out losing access to your brain meds can trigger a TMJ flare up, resulting in a 2-week migraine that takes you out of work. I hoped to spend the weeks leading up to surgery tucking away some funds, but man plans, and god laughs. A little for food & rides to/from the hospital would help a lot.
