The audible signal part is a huge plus. I know “on your left” is a bit of a joke post-Captain America, but it’s so fuckin appreciated when folks actually signal like that. Please let me know you’re coming, ESPECIALLY when I’m with a kid or pet.

YES. Observers have spent too much time worrying about anonymity and secrecy in an effort to avoid after-the-fact consequences. But those consequences are extremely unlikely - first, you’re doing nothing illegal, and second, they literally don’t have the legal manpower to prosecute almost anyone.
This is why the are already dropping the felony charges against the 22 folks arrested last week. They don't have the goods and no one to do the work to prosecute.

Update: I contacted the email address for Robert Scott Horton listed on New York’s Attorney Online Services, and he confirmed that he runs this account. So it’s not impersonation, just misinformation and AI slop.
It’s especially odd that many of the early posts from the “Scott Horton” account are AI-generated memes, verbatim rip-offs of random physics facts from viral tweets, etc.

I remember hearing a story about how a group of Norwegian laundresses fucked up German uniforms during the occupation in WWII. Little things like too much starch or shrinking wool, etc. Just things to keep in mind
What’s darkly funny is that there’s an old CIA manual about this, and how if enough people do it, it can destabilize a country. It’s still on their website right now after being declassified in 2008.
