Yeah I've heard it a bunch (from other nuclear engineers!) when people speak generically about reprocessing and reusing fuel for advanced reactors. Or even sometimes when talking about reprocessing for a specific design, e.g. Oklo which is definitely not oxide fuel

Also the clearance appeals are sometimes a wild read in general, I think my favorite is the unnamed senior official who had a decade long extramarital affair with a sensitive country foreign national and didn't bother to tell anyone

I personally use mixed actinide as a generic form, but this isn't perfect because the acronym MA also means minor actinides (neptunium, americium, curium). Its probably better to explicitly say U-Pu or U-TRU as applicable, and the chemical form as necessary

Pedantic nuclear opinion: we need a better term for uranium-plutonium fuel than MOX, aka mixed oxide fuel. Many advanced reactor designs don't have fuel in an oxide form!
