Finally picked up The Spirit and the Mouse, and this game is so good?!
I've been really enjoying running around this chill little french town collecting bulbs. The level design, the art direction, and the music are all top notch, just a lovely little game.

BREAKING: Yesterday Grand Theft Auto VI maker Rockstar Games fired dozens of people, all of whom were involved in union efforts. A British union calls it "blatant and ruthless" union-busting. Take-Two Interactive says it was due to misconduct.

Recently replayed Ocarina of Time, can we talk about how much the Lost Woods adds to traversal? I love how it connects basically everywhere you need to go as child Link behind Metroid style shortcuts (you need bombs to go to Goron City, and the dive upgrade to get to Zora's domain, etc).

I know I said it on stream a bunch, but it bears repeating. Mousewards verticality and the way the level loops around in on itself is up there with the Souls greats, if not at the top.
They really did a good job of capturing the experience we're going for, I really enjoyed the video!
Especially the little section on verticality, that was spot on. Now that we have a third axis, I intend to take full advantage of it 😤

I think the issue I have with the art style of the halo remake is that it changes the vibes too much. I remember Halo as being full of brutalist concrete structures. The remake says "that was a tech limitation, they were meant to be shiny sci-fi metal instead"
