Why is the BBC reporting that “Algerian man” had been mistakenly released from prison? What was his crime or his sentence? There have been 260 other cases erroneous prisoner releases this year. Did the BBC report them as “white British man mistakenly released”? Thought not.

That scene of the Welsh BBC correspondent being the only person interviewing Caerphilly's new Plaid AM while the rest of the media interviewed Reform's loser in the background was far too on the nose.

In case you missed it:
Jenrick supported the appeal of an asylum seeker (to him: 'illegal migrant') who had run into trouble with a law first introduced by Thatcher, and was now drawing on the ECHR to overturn his conviction.
His free speech rights under the ECHR helped his appeal succeed.

Nigel Farage accuses teachers of "poisoning our kids" on race issues.
Here's a reminder of what teachers and fellow pupils at Farage's own school remember of his own views on that subject.

It is 85% migrant, a segregated society with a ban on integration in principle and practice, few rights, equal opportunities, nor voice for incomers

If you don’t like being called a racist, maybe don’t make a career of saying things that appeal to racists, don’t create a political party that keeps attracting racist candidates, don’t fawn over racist world leaders, and don’t make a convicted racist the guest of honour at your party conference.

Nigel Farage & Alex Phillips have been awfully quiet about Nathan Gill pleading guilty to eight counts of bribery relating to pro-Russia statements made in European parliament and articles.
Just wanted to refresh their memories about how they were all a team through that period.

If Trump accepts that some US cities are unsafe and wants to justify changing venues for some Wold Cup matches next year, surely FIFA should simply remove the USA’s ability to host any of these games?

Trump/MAGA are trying to gaslight us into believing that anti-Jimmy Kimmel America is vast and deep, that MAGA's grip on the culture is unshakable, that mobilization is futile.
But this episode has demonstrated the opposite. Let's not forget it.

Why are the American president's claims about autism the first item on British news bulletins?
He's not our president, the advice doesn't apply here and he's not presented any evidence to support his assertions.
So why spread these claims? What make this the biggest story in the UK?
