Your regular reminder that people I don’t follow and don’t know who @ me instructing me how to use my personal Bluesky account, which is nobody’s business but my own, will be immediately blocked - as someone just discovered. Actually, that goes for anyone telling me how I should use Bluesky.

He says it’s going just about as well as expected so far. This is also the point when the serf curses herself for once again buying almond paste instead of marzipan - when will she ever learn!

Well, it went a bit better than last time, although we ended up finishing early for - reasons. But it was OK, I guess. Still tricky though to get the right balance between questions and silence.

Serf is feeling a bit anxious today - not entirely sure why. She had a minor confrontation with someone this morning but that doesn’t usually throw her off track. Suppose it could be the coaching session later today, the same client as last week when things went wrong. Deep breaths, will be fine.

A tip for you @pacarnahan.bsky.social :-D
I'm an author. Everyone who gives my books a 1-star review, which, not to be cocky, is rather rare, I use their name to create a terrible, hated character in my next book who gets killed off most gruesomely. You've been warned.

SARS-CoV-2 Leaves a Lasting Mark on the Immune System
A landmark new study shows COVID-19 isn’t ‘just a cold’: One infection left people with long-lasting immune damage, and those with heart disease lost up to 70% of key immune cells. Reinfections may wo...

Indeed - we don’t have herd immunity and never have, just constant forced mass infection since 2020. And six years later, this obviously shows no sign of ever abating. Not that we have any proper current statistics, of course. Just wastewater to go on.

Even ignoring Dr. Høeg's antivaccine views and obvious bias, she has no qualifications for the job. She does not know regulations, she does not know drug approvals, and she has no expertise in any relevant scientific area.
No wonder people are resigning.

The BA.3.2.* COVID variant is nicknamed "Cicada". It's been underground for a while.

Masks stop it, but maths is my prime concern. We must reduce transmission, so it has limited opportunity to mutate further.

The serf is a bit sad because her friend who she usually calls for a looooong chat a few hours each weekend has just called to cancel due to what seems to be the main fuse blown in his house. Obviously can’t be helped and hope he gets it sorted, but dang, she was looking forward to it.
