update: the only sweet potato I have in the house is in the oven, but it weighs 2lbs 2oz, it's gonna be a while 😅
trying to decide whether I need to make a sweet potato pie this weekend to satisfy the Orange-Colored Pie cravings I can no longer satisfy at T'giving because I do it GF to protect a guest, and I have yet, after many attempts, to find a GF pie crust that was worth anything at all

Thanksgiving morning is relatively quiet, since I did so much yesterday. Okay, I churned the spiced cider sorbet while I ate breakfast, and I'll prep the sprouts later. But that's mostly it for now, so I'm gonna spend the morning chilling and watching the Macy's parade when it's on in a bit.

Butterflied turkey and made pecan bars, cranberry/raspberry sauce, cornbread dressing, mushroom/leek filling for GF turnovers, labneh, & brown butter bourbon, which leaves us with ~8oz of bourbon-flavored brown butter for future baking deliciousness. Only hot pepper labneh left to do tonight. Phew.
