Panel 1 shows a half-drow women named Vythiri running while something unseen speaks to her. Vythiri wears a white black and yellow dress and has manacles attached to her hands, the chains appear to have been snapped apart.

Unseen "I told you they wouldn't be accepting of you, why did you even bother with these lesser beings?"

Vythiri "That was our best chance to have somewhere we wouldn't be hunted, but you couldn't control yourself."

Panel 2 shows Vythiri collapsed to her knees on the ground in a clearing of flowers.

Unseen "You still blame me for what you did? I may be the source of your power but you are the one who uses it."

Vythiri "I didn't want this."

Unseen "Yes you did. You wanted freedom so it was granted to your, but all freedom has a cost."

Vythiri "I DIDN'T WANT YOU!"

Panel 3 has the unseen character appear, they look exactly the same as Vythiri, however are a translucent green as if they were a ghost. Vythiri continues speaking.

Vythiri "I haven't felt alive since you spoke your poisonous words in my head."

Ghost "Despite how good you are at lying it won't work on me, we share the same brain space after all, I know every little emotion, every little thought, every dream."

Panel 4 shows a close up of their hands, Vythiri's digging into the dirt while the ghosts hands hold to Vythiri's hands.

"This is the most alive you have ever felt in your entire life, and you are scared."

Really happy with how these turned out. I tried something different when it came to the penciling portion. Nothing more satisfying than seeing something work out the way you plan for it.

Here some samples!
