Was just thinking about this. Staios has mostly been adding grit and leadership types (besides the Cozens swap) on the assumption that there was enough skill. That’s the biggest risk this season

There was about a 15 game stretch when he came to OTT where he had an on-ice sh% of like 25%, where everything he touched turned to gold. He ended his time in Ottawa underwater on shots and chances 5v5 and was a train wreck in the playoffs. I hope he’s good too, because there’s a lot riding on him

yeah, once you get the injured the way he has, it's just going to be such a challenge to stay healthy while playing NHL hockey. I hope things change for him, I really do, but it doesn't look good.
