Surprised none of the Sens fans on here asked for Pinto after his scorching start. He has contributed strongly in all three zones and been an integral part of Ottawa treading water with their captain out.

Yeah it shows how much he deserves the platinum stylistic unicorn badge, there’s just no comparables
Kirill Kaprizov is so good he breaks our Stylistic Similarity model. Need an elite sniper? High-end playmaker? Superstar who can shutdown the opposition? Kaprizov can do it.

He's incredibly consistent year-to-year too, placing at the 99th percentile amongst F every single season.

It won't continue, but Linus Ullmark is on track to have the 2nd worst goalie season since 2020 if nothing changes.
I still write it as Artyom every once in a while and have to catch myself
Artyom Levshunov is starting to use his frame more & more. Especially promising is the big jump in his ability to limit chances against around the net. And although it's not as important for dmen, he's been joining the forecheck to generate offence a fair bit too so far this season.

For any usual skater, pretty low

But Reinhart is unique with the Selke-level defense and near Rocket Richard worthy goalscoring upside, so he tends to be a very sought-after option in the chemistry model

Still though even for him this is an unlikely 3-for-3
Glad to hear it πŸ™Œ
Caufield-Suzuki-Slaf is as close as you can get to your ideal top line exiting a rebuild. The power-playmaking of 20, with the sheer scoring talent of 13, and 14's do-it-all play style in the middle is something to behold, all with an avg age under 24!

πŸ“ˆ lb-hockey.com
yeah pretty much exactly that, his volume of xA isn’t as high as his volume of actual assists
McCarthy to Nailor holy crap we did it, what a way to close it out
not a dumb question! it's a mix of a bunch of things:

1. the points pace is just stretching out his current production over an 82-game pace
2. the playmaking line is measuring expected assists based on the danger of chances he sets up (rather than just actual assists)
3. small tracked sample
Despite a big jump in his 82-game point pace, Batherson's passing underlyings indicate a regression is in store. After hanging around the 75th percentile for the past 3 years, his playmaking is around 30% in 2025-26. Same goes for his help on the breakout after a jump last year.

Strong start for Sennecke. Sure the defensive side isn't ideal, but what else can you expect from a 19yo rookie. He has posted excellent puck-carrying metrics on zone entries so far, and shown above-average shooting & checking skills too.

Ivan Demidov is wasting no time integrating himself as a key piece for Montreal. Everyone knows the skill he possesses, but it's been his ability to continue leveraging it in high-contact areas that has really impressed me so far.

Macklin Celebrini is an anomaly. He breaks our contract projection model with how exceptional he's been at such a young age, and dominates the offensive and transition game. He's also very involved defensively and has respectable results given the environment. Already a superstar ✨

connor hellebuyck supremacy
ok but Jordan Spence is also point per game :)
The turnover & lackadaisical defensive effort on the Game 2 OT winner against Toronto, the terrible double-minor penalty that almost got the team swept in Game 4 overtime.

Even just last night it wasn't only the muffin pass to Newhook, but also the attempt to force a deke 1v2, turning it over
lost in the horrors of last night, Drake Batherson should be scratched for the next few games if the Sens are serious about holding players accountable for game-losing mistakes
