Happy #portfolioday ! I’m a fantasy artist with a specialty in sweet, sweet romance. I usually do #dragonage and #bg3 fanart with some OC art in the mix.

Dominant color is turquoise with purple shadows. Emmrich Volkarin and Rook from Dragon Age the Veilguard make out under a statue of skeleton lovers embracing each other.

Colors grade from light teal at the bottom to yellow in the middle to a midnight blue at the top. Smoke swirls around a Rook with long dark hair as Lucanis Dellamorte embraces her from behind with his Spite wings unfurled (in a romantic way—not necessarily sexual). A bright orb like the moon or sun illuminates them from behind. None of this will make any sense unless you have familiarity with dragon age the Veilguard lol.

Rook and Emmrich from Dragon age the Veilguard look lovingly into each others eyes while decked out in wedding finery. The dominant color is yellow (gold) with a detailed foliate background.

Durge from Baldur’s Gate 3 holds a sleeping Astarion atop a bed of roses, with Bhaal’s skull watching ominously behind him. This was made for a fairy tails and folklore zine, with this image taking inspiration from sleeping beauty. The dominant colors are pink and purple with red for the roses.

Sometimes this turns out well and I end up making something I really love—like the illustration my pfp is from was supposed to be a cute little sketch and it became this elaborate thing.

But other times, it means I just don’t finish things and never share them.

I really need to get comfortable with drawing simpler things. Sketches, simply colored things that are faster to make and share. I feel like every time I try, about midway I think “okay, now let’s make this perfect.”

What are Callin’s pronouns and are there any keywords to describe their personality? Like, serious, chipper, grumpy, etc. I use vague personally traits with choosing a pose/expression (gonna keep it simple, in line with your examples)

The Conclusion!

Full shojo, fluff, and self-indulgence! I pulled some dialogue that Lich!Emmrich says for this. I think he’d come to the same realizations on his mortal path, he might just arrive there a bit later.
