No, this isn’t a paranoia thing. We are passively being profiled at scale, because apps and other technology have made it significantly easier to do so.

Think of it as curating your own digital garden and putting a nice fence around it. Be kind to yourself, and equally kind visitors you allow in.

For sure! In the context I mentioned I meant that the book is not a pre-requisite but gives depth to the game’s premise. I actually prefer anime or other visual media doing the leading up, like what Battlefront or Cyberpunk did for their respective series

It's something to watch with new social sites, whether they get regulated into compliance or out of existence. Personally why I'm sticking with Bluesky for now.

As much as I love the idea of Pillowfort, seems like it's based in TX. With the current digital-ID compliance being spread nationally, on top of other privacy issues, it does not bode well for the platform's longevity.

Love the idea of it and their stances on everything, but States-side is not it.
