I can read good
Would think Mets add Bellinger + Suarez as their big bats, 1 more high leverage reliver, 1 of the big SPers out there, 1 mid-rotation SPer, and then it's just league avg guys.

Vientos / Acuna / Jett / one Sproat or Tong the key guys I think could be thrown into trades to bring back a big time guy.

Wolves are an absolutely hysterical team.

If Devin Williams was signed to be the 8th inning guy / backup closer: A+ deal

If Devin WIlliams was signed to be the 9th inning guy / primary closer: C+ deal

The worst part is Spurs are a boring watch. There is no attacking plan. It's set pieces and moments of individual brilliance but collectively? I don't see any patterns to what we are trying to do in the final third. No promising combinations. Simple, safe passes. Everything is risk averse. Rubbish.

6 y/o niece mailed me a thank you letter for filling up her Scholastic Book Fair eWallet and it did not disappoint.

Obviously, it's been the best scoring season of Tyrese Maxey's career, and it's not even particularly close.

But Maxey is putting up career-highs pretty much across the board. From assists, to getting to the FT line, to efficiency, and the all-in-one advanced metrics.

Nathan continues to lead the world in amazing analysis. Please support him if you can!
One way to track Tottenham's quality in possession this season is to count the number of passes that Xavi Simons - Spurs' playmaking no.10 - is receiving in what I'm going to call "The Danger Zone"

36 second half points for the Sixers with 50 seconds to go. Woof.

Unacceptable by Johnson. That would be enough to drop him from rotation for a bit. That had been coming with the amount of times he's beat and frustration fouls.

There needs to be a study done on why strikers suddenly shit themselves in front of goal when they join Tottenham.

Now here’s a ‘rehab project’ I’d gladly take on. Seems like a lot of King’s issues in 2025 stemmed from his early shoulder injury. He offers three plus-grade pitches that incoming Mets pitching direction should love, and even in an off year still tossed a 3.44 ERA with solid underlying stats.

Hmm.

Game 6/81

Sixers win!

Record: 5-1
Games biggest moment: Hot start in 4th
Player of the game: Oubre
Best stat: 54 bench pts
Worst stat: 15 turnovers + 13 OREB allowed
Biggest takeaway: Did what they had to do v a bad team, even down Embiid. Kudos to the effort by everyone for 4Q's.

Gut punch
The fear heading into the MRI is that Tucker Kraft tore his ACL, source said. Just brutal.

Wow. VDV and Spence just cold shouldered Frank. That was bad. Frank stood there staring backwards in shock
November 1, 2025 at 8:05 PM
I hope Frank goes back 3 for 2nd half

5-3-2

Put Kudus in midfield 3, drop Xavi for Johnson and pair him up top with RKM. Can leave Palhinha as 3rd CB or sub in Romero.

Tottenham just not a good team. Plenty of evidence at this point.

Game 5/81

Sixers lose

Record: 4-1
Games biggest moment: Grimes final possession
Player of the game: Maxey
Best stat: Won 3rd QTR
Worst stat: 16 OREB given up
Biggest takeaway: Team defense continues to let them down. Really like the fight of this team, though. They never stop.

FACTS about SNAP:

-35% to white people (largest share)
-90% to people born in 🇺🇸
-86% to households with kids
-70% work full time but aren’t paid a living wage (aka corporate welfare)

Possible PG trades:

Portland for Grant (3 yr 32m per) & Timelord (expiring 14m)
Clippers for Collins (expiring 27m) & Bogey (2 yr 16m per)
Sacramento for LaVine (2 yr 48m per)

There's a PHX one, a NOLA one, and a sneaky Lakers one (yup, that guy), but those are my top 3 at the moment...
