It would be nice to see some new faces on live football coverage. It seems to be the same pool of 8-10 people on every broadcast. Surely we can do better than Shearer and Rooney? Or cliché-a-minute Sturridge?

Commentators calling him "Yamal" is so poor.

The fact this felt inevitable tells you everything you need to know about modern football. It's never been further from "the people's game" as it is right now.
Timeline.

🔴13 Nov - Ronaldo gets red card in Portugal’s game v ireland. (Should miss opening 2 games of World Cup.)

🟠18 Nov - Ronaldo meets Donald Trump at White House.

🟢25 Nov - FIFA clears Ronaldo to play in World Cup from start.

At least Gary Neville can climb down off his high horse about United now. Shambolic. Haha.

I'm kind of numb to Spurs at this point. It feels like we need 3-4 near perfect windows to get the squad right. The over reliance on Harry & Son set us back so much as there was no succession plan, not even to help ease the burden on them. We just squeezed & squeezed. And now it's a total reset.

That second half I don't mind. How much of it was based on Arsenal being 3-0 up, I don't know, I just want to see effort to give me a bit of hope.

Most times, you simply lose to the better side. But what you can't do is roll over and not even put up a fight. That first 45 mins was awful.

Next goal decides if Spurs have any fight in them or we get totally battered.

Roll the dice, Thomas The Frank Engine. Roll the damn dice.

First goal for them was quality. Second one feels generous considering there were Arsenal players blocking Vic's vision. But we have been really, really.. nothing.

Surprised Neville spoke as much as he did. You know, whilst gobbling Saka's balls all half.

Slot needs to realise throwing every attacker into the XI and moving midfielders back into defence isn't a viable option.

Forest have been much the better side. Which, you know, should be worrying.
November 22, 2025 at 4:42 PM
It's part new personnel, part a midfielder playing right back, part low confidence, part dealing with Jota's passing (probably a larger part than most realise) & part Salah's natural decline. All combined together and that fear factor of facing Liverpool has disappeared. So wasteful in attack, too.
November 22, 2025 at 4:13 PM
Liverpool look a real mess.

That's a really, really questionable handball decision.

I will venture into the Parrott-sphere because I feel, on the whole, people are getting upset about something they *think* is being said rather than what is.

I've seen no one – maybe I just follow the right folks – claim it was a mistake to sell Troy. It was 100% the right decision for everyone.

I will never vote Tory, because I care about people, but that's the same reason I won't vote for this Labour Party under Starmer again.

We have a horrible bunch of 'elites' to choose from, none of which have any understanding of the struggles the working class face on a daily/weekly/yearly basis.
