Also like, trump ran a dogshit campaign where he was pretending to suck off microphones and saying "let's make it a musical-fest" while people were passing out from heat exhaustion. Voters just wanted radical change, they threw out the incumbent party all over the world
no one wants to read the truth, that Harris ran a very good campaign that substantially moved the needle in her direction but it wasn't enough to overcome a hostile environments driven by factors outside her or anyone's control
OPINION by @zeeshanaleem.bsky.social:

“That the DNC is mothballing whatever audit it could bring itself to conduct underscores that the party remains petrified of its own reflection.”

Very random, but the more I think about how Gimli’s first reaction to seeing the Ring and being told what it is is to immediately attempt to destroy it, the more impressed I am.

How do you pick who goes to the playoffs?

NFL: W-L records, SOS, conference wins, out-of-conference wins, and point differentials. It may seem confusing, but at the end of the day, every team got in based on a rigid and provable mathematical formula.

College Football: Ţ̷̒ĥ̸͚ȩ̵͒ ̴͈̈s̶̝͑h̷̰͋ḁ̵͝d̷͉́o̵̙͝ẅ̸̯́ ̸͍̓c̷̲̈́ó̷͎ŭ̴̫n̵͔͠c̷͍̄i̵̤͗l̸͔͐ ̵͙̄d̴̜̐e̵̘̍c̴̱̏i̷͈͋ḏ̸̓e̷̮͒s̵̨͆

Completely random historical fact for you: during WWII, there was a good deal of fighting done at sea in the Pacific. Oftentimes, when ships sank, defenseless survivors would be attacked and killed by the Japanese military.

We executed Japanese military leadership for war crimes.

The president is a political cartoon of corruption come to life, a gaudy grifter who is selling off pardons and lining his pockets, building a golden ballroom and protecting his fellow sex predator elites, all the while regular Americans are suffering and struggling to make ends meet.

I want the house. I want the yard. I want the picket fence. Sorry, not sorry.
One of the most shocking moments of my education was when a professor showed a visual of the same plot of land divided two different ways: 20 houses with yards, and one big condo with a park, lake, stores, amenities. She asked "Which do you prefer?"

The vote: 19 for the houses, 1 for the lake (me)
I love my urban lifestyle, but a lot of people think that the way I live - small apartment, electric scooter, public transportation - is insane. Regs can influence things to a degree, but Americans want that big yard, standalone house and it's hard to convince them my lifestyle is better. I do try!

This guy needs to be Nuremberg’d
Bovino: "Whether they were criminals or individuals that were taking jobs from Americans -- you name it, that's what they were doing. And I'll tell you what's gonna happen. We're gonna go even harder on the streets. If he releases those 650, we're gonna apprehend 1,650 on the streets of Chicago."

Chuck Schumer is the most feckless sack of capitulatory bile that God ever put on this earth. Makes Chamberlain a profile in courage by comparison.

The USSR did not defeat fascism with better tactics, more well-trained soldiers, or more advanced equipment. The Nazis arguably had all three advantages.

The USSR defeated fascism because it had a near limitless tolerance for suffering. The test we face isn’t of our tactics—it’s of our endurance.

Jay Jones texted that he thinks GOP and their kids should be shot. He literally wrote that. And then admitted that he wrote that.

He won Virginia by a wider margin than Kamala Harris. I don’t think the US or the Democrats themselves are quite ready for what the Democratic Party is about to become.

Half my household income comes from a federal job. We put plans to buy a home on hold because of this shutdown. We were ready to dip into savings. We were more than happy to do this because we supported the fight.

For the Dems to do this for nothing is a level of betrayal I can’t describe.

The filibuster is so fundamentally anti-democratic that forcing the authoritarian party to kill it so that they could keep taking health care and food away from Americans was probably the cleanest out from the damn thing, yet this Cones of Duneshire-ass opposition party loves rules more than wins.

This was a coordinated ploy by leadership and deliberately put the senators who have the least electoral consequences in the firing line.

They’re all complicit. The litmus test should be: do you think Schumer should step down? If the answer is no, primary immediately.
November 10, 2025 at 5:21 PM
As I suspected. If there is plausible deniability for all of them, then they all must go.
If the scholars, journalists and professional senate watchers are any indicator, it was leadership and/or a collective caucus decision, which makes it even worse

Shutting down the government is a big deal. People have been hurt in big ways as a result of the decision. To have that suffering be for nothing—to re-open the government without actually having protected people’s health insurance and economic well-being—is unconscionable.

okay, so, with Dems successfully keeping anyone up in 2026 for voting for this turd let's take a look at who's up in 2026 anyway:

1. Cory Booker - apparently involved behind the scenes, constantly looking for bipartisanship. I don't dislike him personally but he doesn't have what we need. Primary.

If democrats are actually caving like I’m reading, I swear I will not vote for another incumbent Democrat as long as I live.

I am sick and tired of getting fucked over by a party that doesn’t give a shit about its voters or about winning.

I don’t want to take anything away from Mamdani, who inspires the hell out of me and makes me want to repeal the natural-born-citizen clause, but old guard Dems upset by this should maybe not run a handsy, annoying perv who’s been told to get lost multiple times, and this wouldn’t happen. 🤷🏻‍♂️
