I’ve been caught up on the fact that many of the “young republicans” featured are in their late 20s or mid 30s. One was a GC. Vance trying to dismiss the texts as juvenilia of college kids is misleading as hell.

I can't see any scenario where tear gas is an effective tool in rounding up immigrants.

If immigration enforcement was their primary function they wouldn't even be carrying tear gas.
