So...how will this be enforced on the world-wide basis...espcially since people can/will lie about their ages, and will bypass the checks. This is the same vibe as any Online Safety Act...a law nobody asked for and wanted.

This is probably the more realistic take here. When tariffs are gone it can be possible for the US bean market to bounce back but China will likely have a lot more leverage now

If the tariff situation changes and the market goes back to normal I'm sure China will buy from US farmers if the price is right, but the farmers aren't going to like the right price.

They've given up any preferred status they had and allowed a competitor to grow in capability and influence.

The way I see it they want to take America back to... *Checks calendar* the 1950's-1960's.

That was the Civil Rights movement era.

And yes it sucked then. But it also wasn't a dictatorship. Doesn't matter how much they act like autocrats, we're still not an autocracy.
