People are assholes... Going through a little more trouble in the name of security might be worth it in general.

Trying to keep your address out of public records would be much more difficult.

I mean that it is possible that they had access to these accounts for a while and may have only chosen now to use them.

They could have plenty of other people picked out. OPSEC is just generally good and doubly so nowadays.

I don't think that you gather account information from multiple services on a whim. If they have info on this one person, they might have info about more targets and they're waiting for an opportune time to use it.

Bumping up your security is probably a good thing if you're notable in a movement.

When you do something other than try to do a pithy/snappy retort on a short form social media you can deliver more complex messages. (Not saying you're guilty of this.)

Trump can represent a significant acceleration and amplification without having to be a total aberration that came out of nowhere.

I don't think they understand that investigating journalism isn't going to be stopped by CEOs refusing to do puff interviews with traditional outlets.

The "hard hitting" CEO interviews aren't where the work happens.

I don't know that saying they're "supporting Nazism" is technically correct. When you're part of the apparatus of government, you're just a Nazi.

There's a functional difference between a rando collecting paraphernalia and someone actively working for a legislator openly displaying it.

I don't know why he's doing literally anything with any politician, let alone Harris.

It amazes me that so many people have such strong feelings about her as a candidate. She never had the juice to carry a campaign by herself. Why have guest commentary by the OTHER candidate that lost to Trump????
