This is Colton. He started a fire at his house when he chewed through a lithium ion battery. He's not the first dog to do this, and he won't be the last, but unfortunately his dad is a firefighter, so it's probably going down as one of the most embarrassing instances. Referring to global history during the 'Victorian era', but de-centering Europe:
The Meiji era of Japan lasted from 1868 to 1912.

So:
