I also wonder whether they're worried about it from an IP standpoint. Worried whether incorporation of any AI work (which has seen some rulings that it can't be copyrighted) would dilute the strength of their copyright. Which has always been GW's biggest focus, for better and for worse.

There are a couple of different open source would-be Discord competitors from what I can recall. But these things take time, and it might be a while before we even hear their names again.

I remember seeing a couple of posts last night re: discord AI survey stuff about an open-sourced discord-like that once had one name and now has a new name but I didn't bookmark any of the posts so I lost it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Did I imagine this happening?
