It’s essentially an emergency that you see One Battle After Another in the cinema immediately. Sean Penn will win an Oscar & it has the best car chase in many years. And those aren’t in the top 3 best things about the film. Jesus shitting Christ.

Wear a mask, if you're going to be crowded in with people.

Please be conscious if you protest this weekend that there are feds at the protest. They look like you and they sound like you, not like Steve Buscemi in that one clip with the skateboard. Thinking you can spot them is self delusion. Nobody you haven’t met needs to know your last name.

It's not always that trauma survivors "want" to isolate. Very often we crave connection & intimacy-- more, even, than the normies.

It's that our nervous system keeps trying to "solve" the problem of our unpredictable reactions to closeness or affection by keeping our distance.

I found a 19th century Cat Villain!

A huge chonk of a fluffy cat sitting on a table near an open fire. The cat is cream and grey and appears to be shaped like a barrel in a fur coat. They are scowling fiercely with their moustache and bewhiskered ears apparently flowing back into the cold wind. There's a definite vibe that this villainous cat twirls their moustache as they evict orphans into the aforementioned blizzard and think Scrooge was an easy-going lightweight. They are magnificent.

If your organization is about "fighting crime", then you better make sure there's always some crime to go fight. Otherwise, why would anybody need you? To police, the idea of crime going down is like a company hearing they're going to lose the supply of resources that keep them in business.
