TN07 is a story about gerrymandering: the GOP cracked Nashville into 3 districts when it redrew the 2022 map, destroying the Dem seat there.

Fast-forward: a section of Nashville, which just 5 years ago had a Dem representative, is now voting Dem by huge margins but it's been designed to not matter.

It’s unsurprising that the Georgia election interference case against Trump will be dismissed

But it’s infuriating nonetheless

We all heard him extorting Brad Raffensperger-trying to make him “find” 11,780 votes

And worse-now the DOJ is “investigating” Fani Willis-upon Trump’s demand

Appalling

End of the road for the last pending criminal prosecution against Trump. The Fani Willis intitiated Fulton County prosecution assigned to a new prosecutor, after Willis ordered off case, and he filed a motion of dismissal that the court accepted this morning. I'll be posting a longer Youtube on it.

Suspect in National Guard shooting served alongside U.S. troops in Afghanistan, relative says www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...

My dime-a-dozen theory is that the shooter was angry about the Trump/Pompeo sellout of his country to the Taliban. 🤷🏻‍♂️

NEW: The two shot National Guard troops never should have been in DC. More troops is no answer.

The violence is horrible and unacceptable. Trump, Pete Hegseth, and West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey never should have put the troops in this position.

No idea why an Afghan refugee shot National Guard soldiers within walking distance of the White House, but this new USCIS directive was revealed on Monday. Worth noting.
The folks at @afghanevac.bsky.social have in hand a new USCIS directive which largely targets Afghan refugees who fled the Taliban in the wake of the U.S. withdrawal in 2021.

In case you needed a reminder that the most loathsome people in the world work for DHS.

On Thanksgiving, I want to share something I have to keep re-learning.

Thankfulness (gratitude) is the greatest force to turn misery & despair into peace & power to cope with life’s troubles.

I am thankful for Mary & Madison. I am thankful for my health. I am thankful for my friends. Solidarity.

National Guard troops don't sign up to be used as political pawns. They sign up to serve their country, not needlessly deploy to American cities to pick up garbage. These two soldiers should be alive right now and at home with their families for Thanksgiving. I'm furious.
