Strikingly, of the 45 Minneapolis Police officers whose videos we've just released, more than 24% have killed community members while on duty, and a large swath of other officers had numerous accounts of egregious actions against the community. 🚔

I know everybody is doing their best but these pieces always get the same thing wrong: OpenAI is not sending money to Oracle to send to NVIDIA. Oracle is self funding or having other parties buy the gpus to provide the compute. OpenAI isn’t sending anyone billions! They don’t have it!
"Many of the deals OpenAI has struck — with chipmakers, cloud computing companies and others — are strangely circular. OpenAI receives billions from tech companies before sending those billions back to the same companies to pay for computing power and other services." www.nytimes.com/interactive/...
How OpenAI Uses Complex and Circular Deals to Fuel Its Multibillion-Dollar Rise
Here are seven unusual financial agreements helping to drive the ambitions of the poster child of the A.I. revolution.

i can't claim to know Kat as well as I'd like but there's never been a shred of doubt in my mind that she believes what she says and is willing to put her body on the line for that belief. I admire her.
Kat Abugazeh’s campaign has crossed a threshold where the risk she’s taking is significant enough and the actions admirable enough I sorta am past caring if it’s a publicity stunt/brand building exercise or not, it’s still brave and worthy of respect.

ICE is one of the most well funded military force on the planet, entirely used internally on it’s own citizens, and completely loyal to a far right fascist dictator. if democratic politicians are not on board with abolishing ICE, they must be replaced
This appears to be the full video of the Chicago delivery worker. It actually appears that an agent tries to assault him after he curses the Dear Leader Kim il Trump to their faces.

As a heads up this is disinfo. The rifle used is suspected to have been a 30.06. Turan (the company that makes the pictured bullet) only makes up to 5.56 rifle caliber rounds. So unless the feds are wrong about the caliber of the rifle they found (unlikely) this can't be an explanation.

they didn't do this when democratic lawmakers were targeted by a gunman. the mainstream media barely peeped when a Kyle Rittenhouse fan did a mass shooting at a Portland protest. Democrats and the mainstream media are just terrified of conservatives to the point where no one else's lives matter

We don't really know anything about the shooter. Entirely possible this was a veteran I guess but nothing I've seen so far suggests that over, for example, a competent hunter.
Could be an AR but just as likely it was a bolt action in something like .270 (in other words, a deer rifle)

This, from the Quakers, is a pretty good example of how to resist pressure from bigot lobbying groups. Effectively “we legally can allow trans people to use the loo, we morally should, and we tried it and nothing bad happened”

if there are reprisal terrorist attacks in the U.S. they are less likely to backed by Iran than they are to be independent actions by individuals unconnected to any state. think the San Bernardino ISIS shooting
this is just how political violence works today, it's nothing specific to this conflict

Cable news suddenly keeps mentioning “sleeper cells” in Iran. Heard it at least 3 times on CNN. Unbelievable 2003-style reporting malpractice, just spitballing ways of making Iran seem like a threat to Americans sitting at home watching tv
