Hotter take, quantifying which of the unethical, destructive bullshit AI companies pull is worse is useless.
It makes life worse for people in way too many different ways. Destroying environment, stealing livelihoods, exploiting people in 3rd world countries, sending people into hospital.

Hot take perhaps, but the environmental impact of AI is far worse and more worrying than the plagiarism or copyright issues... and the conversation largely being focused on the latter is honestly frustrating.
