Let me explain the math behind why the destruction of the Washington Post isn't about money.

The paper is now losing $100 million a year. Jeff Bezos is worth $253 billion. This means he could self-fund the Washington Post for THE NEXT 2,000 YEARS and still have $53 billion LEFT OVER.

Like if executing people point-blank in the street wasn’t evidence enough, DHS is abandoning pets when they abduct their victims. Not to mention pets who don’t get fed when their humans don’t come home. It’s an entire agency of puppy killers and it starts at the top.

A million pilot programs show the same thing: when people are given enough money to afford housing, homelessness ends.

Other supports matter, but housing comes first. Not policing. Not moralizing. Homes.

Jeff Bezos took over the Washington Post Editorial Board and turned it into a mouthpiece for pro-corporate, pro-billionaire propaganda.

Now, WaPo is laying off hundreds of *real* journalists — including the reporter covering Amazon.

I think one thing people outside Minnesota don't understand is that after Good and Pretti were killed by feds while observing, the most normal people you could imagine have made peace with the fact that they could be next, and they are still out there because they say it's the right thing to do.
“If I am killed doing this, throw my body at the White House, martyr the shit out of me & raise hell. Do not be sad. Do not think I would do anything differently. I would do it over & over again — this is too important to sit down & shut up and not do anything.” www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...

Turns Out They Didn’t Really Want You To Bring Your Whole Self To Work
For years, we watched Silicon Valley executives perform elaborate corporate theater about "values" and "belonging" and "bringing your whole self to work." If you were skeptical that any of that was real, well, congrats. Aaron Zamost, a longtime tech communications exec, has a piece in the NY Times that should be required reading for anyone trying to understand the tech industry's sudden, conspicuous rightward lurch.

ICE hasn't stopped brutalizing people or shredding the Constitution, it's just that corporate media turned the camera as the call for action got too loud and the Democrats stepped in and made sure the issue got changed.

If you sit for a second, you'll recognize that's what happened with BLM, too.

DHS said that the woman CBP shot in the chest in Portland was “involved” in a gang shooting.

Her ~involvement~ was that suspected gang members sexually assaulted and robbed her.
After Border Patrol shot two people in Portland, DHS claimed they were "vicious gang members" tied to a past shooting.

But records I obtained reveal a US prosecutor has since directly contradicted DHS, saying, "We're not suggesting he is a gang member." My dive into how DHS' claims have collapsed:
